This page contains Homework Menu assignments for each week, long-term project information and other useful resources.
Be sure to check back here every week. Most updates are completed by Sunday evening.
- Note: A Word Study Blind Sort test will be given every Friday. This tests spelling and definitions of all words. Students will be asked to explain the rule (or rules) of this week’s sort.
Homework Reading Logs
Students are expected to read at least 15 minutes daily as part of their homework. To earn credit, all parts of this log must be completed. This will be collected at the end of the month and recorded as a score for reading. Students may choose to use www.RAZ-KIDS.com selections, related space report reading or any other text.

Homework Menus
Homework is due at the end of each week. Students make selections from a menu of homework requirements for each week.
Note: In addition to menu selections, students must:
- Read a minimum of 15 minutes per night Monday through Thursday.
- Practice Math Facts at least 5 minutes per night Monday through Thursday.

Long-term Projects
1. Space projects
Students have selected an individualized space project. Project work is to be done at home. All space projects are due November 4, 2013.

2. Extra Credit Opportunity
The Observing The Moon (PDF) long-term project is an ongoing extra credit opportunity. Students may complete this project during any full lunar cycle this school year.
